Very cozy interior, super delicious food! The service is also first class - you feel well taken care of and very welcome. Always my pleasure!
Cozy with a small but very nice garden. Food has always been good so far. Service without exception very friendly and courteous.
They use only local, fresh ingredients to prepare delicious intercultural cuisine.
Super nice ambience, fantastic food and service! Looking forward to the beer garden in the backyard next summer! BTW super child-friendly 😊
Delicious food. Very friendly service.
I haven't been so fascinated by a restaurant in a long time; the decoration in the seats and throughout the restaurant is appropriate and aesthetic. The toilets are always clean and all in all the place has a charming impression. The waiters are always particularly charming and very friendly. I really enjoy that every time I visit. As far as concerns me, my husband and I have long since ordered the entire menu, high and low. The dish was brought up very quickly.
Very nicely decorated, great beer garden on the refreshingly cool rock face, good menu with changing dishes
Great dishes, good wines and very friendly service
There were three of us yesterday and overall we were very disappointed. First the positive: Ambience as always great, staff very nice. Order was taken quickly. Unfortunately that was it. Had before and main course. Everyone had something different, but every plate looked equally bleak. Would have to ask for drinks 3 times even though 5 people served the terrace. The fish soup was more of a firm cream, but tasted pretty good except for the gummy croutons. Had scallopina al lime. Got a plate with about 150 grams of meat and otherwise there were only french fries on the plate. Everything was very, very sour (of course, I had ordered lime too) but you couldn't taste anything of the meat except garlic. My plate cost an amazing 21 €, there wasn't even a salad, completely over the top. We were not asked for dessert, coffee or other drinks. We paid and left. Won't be going back anytime soon. When you go out to eat you expect something more sophisticated, otherwise you can stay at home
We have just been to the Auberge rouge. Despite the high summer temperatures, the evening in the rock garden was very pleasant, and the atmosphere for St. Arnual was unusually stimulating. The service was very friendly, attentive and courteous and the food that evening was really superb! We had excellent scallops with sweet potato leek with a note of ginger, perfect rump steak and my mango chutney was topped with warm, lightly roasted cashews. Even the kids liked it !!! I cannot agree with any of the preliminary remarks, some of which are very critical.
Unfortunately, the service was not very attentive. Despite empty glasses, we were not asked for further drinks. Unfortunately, most of the meat for my salad was roasted black on one side. However, the ambience and the taste of the food are positive.
Great ambience, food good.
Taste and ambience is not everything! First of all: I cannot complain about the taste of the scallops I chose, it was good and gives no cause for complaint! The chicken breast from my partner's salad was more of a cause for criticism. The side facing the plate was partially black. But made no impression on the operation when my partner commented on this. We also made no impression on the service staff all evening. The reception was still promising, we had the bottle of water on the table faster than we could order it. The beer I ordered was then delivered on time. Then there was the service. Neither was my partner asked if he wanted to drink anything other than water, nor was it registered that I was sitting there with an empty wheat beer glass for tens of minutes. Perhaps I should also mention that we were not sitting in the last corner, but exactly where the controls from the kitchen kept going in and out, so every ten seconds there were about 4-5 service staff passing our table. Our main course plate was cleared, nobody asked us if we wanted a dessert. I then had to go get the card myself. The next table, two befitting couples in a shirt (we were two men without a female escort, in jeans and a T-shirt, so a bit casual and unconventional), was given the cards by a waitress. OK. We then had to wait minutes again for someone to notice us (a waitress always checked that everything was OK, but we probably had our camouflage hood on). I didn't feel like dessert anymore, just ordered a coffee. My partner ordered a dessert and a latte. The coffee took about as long as the main course, then the dessert came, and eventually the latte, on the grounds that the coffee machine was not OK. At the same time, the regular neighboring table was given four espressos, so the coffee machine was repaired flux-free. In the meantime, my empty wheat beer glass was cleared without asking if I wanted to drink another one. Everything benefited me when I paid the bill. If you don't want to, you won't make any more sales. The service staff who accepted my payment did not even say thank you, nor did I wish them a nice evening. Another, who found that I was stinky now because of the good service, asked at least if everything was fine. But I didn't feel like communicating anymore. I can recommend this place if you want to sit nice in summer and if you correspond to the cliché, man-woman-child. But as soon as two men come, you like to take the money, but the rest doesn't matter. Too bad, but there is rarely a second chance to revise the first impression. It is best to look well-heeled and order the most expensive wine. Then you are well served there.
Man, man, man ... All well and good, but I definitely won't get to a restaurant where I have to wait 1.5 hours for the main course. It was also difficult to bring the bills until we went to the checkout ourselves. The waiters tried hard, but we had to ask twice where our food went. You should be able to do that better somehow. And the outside table was shaky.
Simply a wonderful family atmosphere!
Food very good. Nice atmosphere. Simply great.
'In a small group at the WE there, 3 people are still sick after days, i.e. since the following night. Incredible. The service can't pull that out anymore ...
Very nice, friendly and above all relaxed atmosphere. The food is excellent and all special requests were accepted by the kitchen friendliest and implemented. The staff is very attentive. Here you can stay long and well and enjoy the time with friends. Wonderful. 😊
Very nice place, great food, great staff!
Friendly atmosphere with a very welcoming staff, the place is very warm and the dishes are excellent and nothing to say for the price, I recommend it is
Nice place.
Hello, that day we were a group of forty six more people being French in Germany, so this is not representative for a more general opinion. Deciphering the map, with my notions of German was not easy, I thought in good French that I am, entry, dish, dessert, but no it was necessary to read entry and dessert. So I chose a salad with roasted potatoes and fried egg among the three proposals of the menu and it was an expectation that seemed endless, especially that there was no more bread and no question of getting back. Let's see that most of the people in the group had casously finished their dish without being even served, so I asked what became of my dish that I was looking for the salad in the garden which took a little longer. But I did not regret it because it was very good. All in a setting that loves the Germans that I love.
Excellent food, fantastic beer, wonderful people, very welcoming to English biker tourists!! Strongly recommend, so friendly!
